We have six shepherd's huts Hawthorn, Montana, Mayfly, Damsel, Alder and Sedge - named after fishing flies. The shepherd's huts are all self-contained, with their own toilet, shower and kitchenette. Outside, there's a barbecue and seats overlooking Hen Wood and along the valley.
Hawthorn and Montana
Here at Meon Springs we have two styles of shepherd's hut on offer. Hawthorn and Montana - our original shepherd's huts - have a bedroom in one building and a loo, shower and kitchenette in a standalone hut.
The beds in the main sleeping area can be made up as a twin or a double.
Mayfly, Damsel, Alder and Sedge
Our newest shepherd's huts - Mayfly, Damsel, Alder and Sedge - are all self-contained with loo, shower and kitchenette.
They may be compact but there's everything you need for a perfect getaway.
You can choose which shepherd's hut you'd like to stay in when you book online.
During the day, it has plenty of living room. And when it's time for bed, it turns into a cosy double.
The shepherd's huts are perfect for couples looking for a country getaway or for anglers looking to enjoy a sporting break. Then again, because of our location in the heart of the South Downs National Park, the huts make ideal accommodation for walkers and cyclists who are looking for a base for an active holiday.
